Swiss SPA BREAK: Swimming under the stars

Swimming under the stars with the close proximity of civilisation that’s what Swiss SPA break is about.

Panorama Resort & SPA Feusisberg is conveniently located next to Autostrada #3 overlooking Zürichsee with the dramatic peaks of the Alps fading in the very far distance. It’s on your way, it’s centrally located and it’s easy to incorporate in your route when passing by. I tend to stop there when driving between France and Italy to relax in the pool and saunas. Take the motorway Zürich-Chur, exit Wollerau, direction Schindellegi/Feusisberg (takes 50 minutes from Zurich Airport).

The wellness area is amazing. There are many saunas & steam baths with a whirlpool in the centre surrounded by relaxation areas. The swimming pool is large enough for serious laps either inside or outside. I love the jets and bubbles to give my joints and back an extra underwater massage. The outside part of the pool has an amazing view of Zürichsee.

The generous Akari Spa provides a world of wellbeing with beautiful views of the Lake of Zurich. Spread over two floors with a total area of more than 2000 m2, numerous baths, whirlpools, saunas, steam baths, massage and cosmetic treatments await you.

The pool opening hours are 6am till 10pm giving you the opportunity to relax regardless of your arrival time. There is a snack bar with tea and coffee served next to the SPA reception, and you can head there directly after you check in.

One cannot wish for more when on the road. The aching back and shoulders can be soothed by a professional massage before you hit the road again. The two restaurants give you a fabulous choice of dishes without leaving the hotel.

Breakfast with view and bubbles, what a way to start the day!

The Sky bar is a definite highlight of the evening. Friendly staff, lively music and oriental interior makes you forget the outside world. An oasis to relax for a night or longer stay, the choice is yours.
